Duties:  Responsible for field preparation, equipment readiness, season closing responsibilities, correspond with the Van Buren Community Sport Association’s Ground and Building Committee head as it relates to the playing fields, non-playing fields, building, etc.

Coaches Coordinator

Duties:  Responsible for creating a positively impact on those coaches who aspire to coach in the Van Buren Youth Soccer Association. This position will teach the coaches the correct techniques that will serve as a base for players the rest of their careers. Skills are taught using fun games, drills, and scrimmages under his supervision. This position will meet on an annual base with the Van Buren High School Boy’s and Girl’s coaches to determine what correct techniques that will be taught to the players.

Team Parent Coordinator

Duties:  Responsible for ensuring that each team has a team parent to assist their coaches and the Team Parent Coordinator; Develop a letter to all team parents that describes their responsibilities; Schedule a team parent meeting one month prior to start of the season; Weekly communications with each team parent of their responsibilities which may include:

Concession Stand Coordinator

Duties:  Responsible for ensuring that each team parent/team supports the concession stand; Develop a letter to all team parent that describes their responsibilities; Schedule a team parent meeting three weeks prior to start of the season; If team parents are not available, meet one on one two weeks prior to the start of the season; Develop a spreadsheet that depicts each team and the dedicated time that each team will support the Concession Stand; Weekly communicate with each team parent of their responsibilities: Ensure that the Concession Stand is fully stocked with day to day items and purchase perishable items.
